Four minute mile is broken in Letterkenny

Two athletes created history by going under four minutes for the first time in Donegal for a mile event.
Mexican Juan Luis Barrios won the  Letterkenny AC Sub 4 Minute Mile Event at the Danny McDaid Track in Letterkenny in a time of 3.59.43.
He was just ahead of Vincent Mutai of Kenya who crossed the line in 3.59.63
There was a great turnout for the event which also saw Mark English set a stadium record in Letterkenny for the 800 m as he clocked 46.88
