A Donegal County Councillor has welcomed the Transport minister’s decision after Donegal County Council were asked to reconsider speed limits in housing estates.
Paschal Donohoe says he wants all councils across the country to take a second look at the limits, and whether they’re doing enough to ensure child safety.
Councillor Patrick McGowen says the move is to be welcomed, but he wants the council to also review safety measures and speed limits outside the county’s schools:
