TD’s are returning early from their summer break today, to debate changes to fuel supports.
Yesterday Cabinet signed off on plans to extend the reductions in excise duty for fuel.
The reversal had been due to take effect from September 1st on a gradual basis, but the cuts will now be phased out between November and February.
The special Dail sitting gets underway at 12 noon.
