Glenn Whelan and Wes Hoolahan are out of next month’s Euro qualifier with Scotland.
Whelan suffered a fracture to his leg in the draw with Germany and will be out for between 4 and 6 weeks according to his Stoke boss, Mark Hughes.
Norwich manager Neil Adams claims Hoolahan will be out for a “number of weeks” after suffering ankle ligament damage in last weekend’s clash with Fulham.
Ireland play Scotland at Celtic Park on November 14th.
