A number of high profile figures in Donegal’s tourism industry have participated in the last of Fáilte Ireland’s “Destination Ireland” workshops, which sees local businesses pitch directly to travel agents and tour organisers from overseas.
After a number of European focussed events, this workshop focussed on the American market, with a number of tailor-made packages presented to the workshop as the tourism sector here prepares for 2015.
Failte Ireland spokesperson Martina Bromley says she expects these workshops to contribute to a further increase in visitor numbers next year, with the Wild Atlantic Way in particular proving to be a major selling point…………
