Co Donegal man charged after Monaghan cocaine seizure

A Co Donegal man in his 30s has been charged in relation to a drug seizure in Co Monaghan over the weekend.
Damien Alcorn, from Drumboden, Kilmacrennan is charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act with possessing cocaine for the purpose of sale or supply.
The 33-year-old was arrested in Co Monaghan on Saturday evening. He was intercpeted by Gardai at Emmyvale.
Alcorn was caught in possession of €15,000 worth of cocaine, which Gardai believe was destined for Co Donegal.
The man was arrested after a joint operation by the Letterkenny Garda Drug Unit and the Detective Unit in Co Monaghan.
