Mark English has been named Irish Athlete of the Year at the National Athletics Awards in Dublin (Santry).
The UCD AC athlete from Letterkenny grabbed European Championships bronze for Ireland in the 800 metres in Zurich during the summer.
Speaking at Wednesday’s ceremony, English says it’s a delight to be honoured.
