Noamh Conaill’s appeal hearing has been deferred

noamh conaillNaomh Conaill’s appeal to the Ulster Council in Armagh which was due to take place in Thursday night has been postponed.
The club were informed of the postponement this afternoon because a number of the Ulster Council members could not attend.
The club’s appeal to the Central Appeals Committee in Croke Park was successful against the Ulster Council decision not to hear their original appeal on the result of the RTE Raidió na Gaeltachta Senior Championship semi-final clash with Glenswilly.
The appeal, which is due to be heard for a second time, centres around the replacement player who was allowed to come on for Ciaran Bonner of Glenswilly, who got a yellow and black card.
It was turned down by the Donegal Competitions Control Committee, The Ulster Council didn’t hear the club’s appeal stating it was out of order due to incorrect paperwork.
Croke Park then sent the issue back to the provincial body.
A new date for the appeal will be announced later.
