Donegal’s Acting Chief Fire Officer has confirmed that the woman in her 70s who died in this morning’s house fire near Creeslough had been brought out of the house before the fire service arrived.
Three appliances, one from Falcarragh and two from Letterkenny fought the blaze on the Ballyboes Road, which was reported just after 1 o’clock this morning and brought under control a short time later.

Meantime on today’s Shaun Doherty Show with Frank Galligan, Garda Superintendent Andy Archbold appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
He confirmed gardai are still at the early stages of an investigation into the blaze………..
