‘Cross border cooperation is vital’ Mc Hugh tells Laurentic conference

Junior Minister Joe Mc Hugh has said continued support for cross border projects and initiatives is crucial for the economic development of Donegal and surrounding counties.
Mr Mc Hugh made his comments this morning at the 7th Annual Laurentic Conference and Commemoration, which is underway at Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
Today, the event is exploring Ocean Technologies and Marine Tourism at LYIT, tomorrow, the focus turns to commemoration, with a number of events in Inishowen to mark the sinking of the Laurentic in 2017.
