A final round of 69 saw Rory McIlroy win the Wells Fargo Championship by a full seven shots and take his 11th PGA tour title.
The world number one topped the leaderboard at Quail Hollow on 21-under par, comfortably clear of nearest challengers Patrick Rodgers and Webb Simpson.
McIlroy’s total of 267 shattered the tournament record by five strokes.
