AGSI executive to discuss Galvin death at special meeting in Dublin

The death last week of Garda Sergeant Michael Galvin is to be discussed at a special meeting of the AGSI executive.
Yesterday, it emerged that a GSOC probe into a previous incident involving Sergeant Galvin had cleared him of any wrongdoing some days earlier, but he had not been informed of that decision.
The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors will today discuss the circumstances surrounding Sergeant Galvin’s death of a gunshot wound at Ballyshannon Garda Station last Thursday morning.
