Foyle Search and Rescue have said that lives were saved in what was one of their most challenging weekends ever.
On Saturday twenty-six people were rescued from the River Foyle after a boat capsized.
It happened on the river between Magheramason and Carrigans.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, the PSNI and the Irish coastguard were among those involved in the rescue.
While in the early hours of Sunday morning a woman who was in a lot of distress was assisted from the river foyle after she entered it.
