Letterkenny host 4 Minute Mile Challenge

A big crowd is expected tonight at the Danny McDaid track in Letterkenny where the 4 Minute Mile Challenge event is hosted by Letterkenny AC
There are a host of races and field events scheduled with top national and international athletes competing right across the evening.
It all starts with the opening ceremony at 6.45pm and there follows over 2 hours of top class action with the eagerly awaiting 1 mile race scheduled for 8.45.
Two Donegal athletes who won’t be in Letterkenny this evening are Karl Griffin from Donegal Town and Letterkenny’s Mark English .
Both are in Estonia for the European u23 Championships and are involved in 800m heats action later today.
