A West Donegal councillor is claiming the overnight NowDOC service in Derrybeg will close for a fortnight from next week as part of what he believes is a trial run.
There have been suggestions that the “Red-Eye”shifts in Derrybeg and Carndonagh could be suspended as part of a reorganisation of the service..
Cllr Michael Colm Mac Giolla Easbuig says he’s been told will be a doctor and driver present, but only for extreme emergencies, and the facility will not be available to the public.
He’s called a public meeting for tomorrow to discuss the issue, and wants TDs and other public representatives to attend………
