A rally is to take place in Letterkenny next week calling for the A rally is to take place in Letterkenny next week calling for the retention of a full out of hours GP service in Donegal.
The rally was organised following a meeting in Dore last night attended by over 200 people to discuss a proposal to stop the overnight red eye shifts in Derrybeg and Carndonagh, and centralise the service in Letterkenny.
The march and rally will begin at 2pm in the Market Square on tomorrow week, Friday August 7th, and head for the NoWDOC headquarters at Oldtown.

Donegal TD Padraig Mac Lochlainn is arguing, however that the service is facing cuts because the government and the HSE are not providing the necessary resourcesd to run the service.
