Micky Adams appointed Sligo Rovers boss

Sligo Rovers have announced the appointment of Micky Adams as their new manager.
The former Southampton and Leeds player has been appointed to take-charge immediately, with Alan Rogers joining the club as his assistant manager.
Adams has a long managerial record, including stints at Brighton, Leicester City, Coventry and Port Vale.
His most recent spell in charge was at Tranmere Rovers, who he left in April of last year when the club was at the bottom of the Football League.
