Sinead Jennings qualifies for Olympic Games

Letterkenny’s Sinead Jennings has qualified for next year’s Olympic Games.
Jennings and her partner Claire Lambe finished third in this mornings B final of the lightweight women’s double skulls at the World Rowing Championships in France.
The Irish pair are Rio bound having secured the required top five finish in today’s race, which was won by China.
It will be a first appearance at the Olympics for 38 year old Jennings.
