It’s emerged that plans for a Primary Care Centre in Gweedore are a step closer this week after the HSE gave a commitment to lease a premises in the area.
The plan is to locate the Primary Care Centre in the current out-of-hours NoWDOC building, with the new facility opening after some refurbishments and adaptations have been carried out.
Deputy Perarse Doherty has tribute to the local community which has campaigned for the service, and says after a number of false dawns in the past, the indications are the centre is finally set to progress…….
