Donegal Councillor Michael Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig has made a formal statement to gardai after he was informed by Irish Water that he had registered with them as a customer.
The councillor, a key figure in the Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay movement, says he never registered, anmd following several conversations with senior Irish Water personnel, he is concerned that he may be the victim of identity theft.
He’s urging other people in the same position to follow suit……………
