There has been a fire in St. Columba’s Church in Termon.
A light overhead went on fire and fell to the ground during 10 o’clock mass this morning.
The incident occurred in the main body of the chapel.
It’s believed there is no structural damage to the building and no injuries have been reported.
However Toxic fumes are still prevalent in the chapel and it is currently cordoned off.
The fire service have advised that this evenings mass should not go ahead.
