Strong turnout at Fianna Fail selection convention

There’s a strong turnout at the Fianna Fail selection convention in Letterkenny this afternoon.
Voting has concluded, and the delegates’ ballots are now being verified and counted, with two candidates set to be selected. It’s expected that former Junior Minister and MEP Pat the Cope Gallagher will be selected, along with sitting TD Charlie McConologue.
The other two nominees are Claudia Kennedy and Cllr James Pat Mc Daid.
It’s expected party HQ will add a third candidate at a later date.
