Firearm and ammunition discovered in Strabane security alert

Following a security alert in Lismourne Place Strabane police recovered a suspected firearm and ammunition.
The alert got underway on Friday night and continued right through until yesterday.
Police were called to the Lismourne Place area on Friday following a report of a suspicious object being found and a gym was evacuated during the operation.
