Donegal runner Mark English finished second on Saturday at the 800m in the Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix.
He crowned a good few days after Mark set an Irish record earlier this week.
UCD student Mark won the 500m at a race in Stockholm, Sweden, on Wednesday, registering a time of 1:00.93.
Today, the Letterkenny man, recorded a season’s best of 1:46.99 in his second-placed finish at Glasgow’s Emirates Arena.
It was his last race of the indoor season and he was beaten only by Polish athlete Adam Kszczot, who also beat Mark to first place at the European Indoors in Prague last year.
