Donegal boxer Brett McGinty was the star of the night in Wales as he won a convincing fight for an Ulster team against a Welsh selection.
His manager Peter O’Donnell of the Donegal Boxing Board told Sunday Sport that Brett, from St Johnston, has a great future.
He said Brett, who has his six Irish titles, including the current Commonwealth Youth Games silver medal, and boxes out of the Oak Leaf Boxing Club in Derry, was fantastic at Newport in Wales on Saturday.
The Ulster team lost 7-4 to the Wales team.
