Donegal manager Rory Gallagher hailed Mayo as one of the top teams in the country after beating them on Sunday.
Mayo were the better team in the first half and led at half-time but Donegal won on a score of 1-14 (17) v Mayo 1-12 (15).
Rory said the it was a massive test from Mayo, claimed they were by far the better team in the opening exchanges, but added he is delighted with his players’ reaction and their hunger to win the game.
