Finn Harps got their Premier Division season off to the best possible start by taking victory in the north west derby against Derry City on Friday night at Finn Park.
Harps new boys David Scully and Ryan Curran scored the crucial two goals which seen Harps take their first win in the league over Derry in eighteen years.
Rory Patterson scored late on for Derry as the Blues from Ballybofey held out to take the points.
