Harry Styles is giving up his celebrity lifestyle as part of preparation for his debut acting role in Christopher Nolan movie Dunkirk.
According to The Sun, the One Direction star will sleep aboard a ship which does not have running water or electricity. Food will be far from luxurious and there will no mobile phone signal or wi-fi.
The ship where the cast will stay will be moored in a secret location.
He will join stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh in the film which is set during World War II.
The film tells the story of the Dunkirk evacuation, which took place at the beginning of the War in 1940. The military operation saved 300,000 Allied troops from the Nazis.
Inception director Christopher is also reported to be on the hunt for mainly unknown actors to play some of the roles.
The paper quotes a source as saying Harry is keen to embrace the experience. “This will be tough and producers are trying to make life on board as realistic as possible,” the insider said.
If fans posting on Twitter are anything to go by, this movie is guaranteed to reach a younger generation of cinema-goers.
