The sister of Mary Boyle, who was last seen near her grandparents’ home at Cashelard, Ballyshannon in 1977 will today meet with Fianna Fail leader Michael Martin and a number of other politicians.
Late last year, Anne Doherty went to gardai and named a man she believes was responsible for her sisters’ murder.
She also alleged political interference in the garda investigation, claiming the suspect was never arrested following the intervention of a politician in Donegal.
Anne Doherty is being accompanied at today’s meetings by Singer Margo O’Donnell and journalist Gemma O’Dohery.
She says they are still unhappy at the progress of the garda investigation……..
