Magee partnership bows out of Europeans at Quarter Final stage

Chloe and Sam Magee’s involvement at the European Badminton Championships in France came to an end this afternoon.
The Donegal pair lost their quarter final tie in straight sets to the tournaments 8th seeds, Niclas Nohr and Sara Thyesen from Denmark.
In a tight first set the Danes snatched it 22-20 but cruised through the second game 21-12 to take their place in the last four.
By reaching the last sixteen of the European women’s singles competition, Chloe’s place at this summers Olympics in Rio Brazil is expected to confirmed next week.
