Tonight there’s a full programme of games in the S.S.E Airtricity league Premier division.
Finn Harps are on the road for the second weekend in a row.
They’re away to Wexford Youths and injuries and suspensions have done little to help Harps’ preparations for this one.
Ollie Horgan himself will serve a one game ban after he was sent from the technical area during the game against St. Pat’s in Finn Park. Dave Scully is also suspended and there are a number of injury concerns in the squad – ahead of what’s another important game.
No fewer than eight players have been already ruled out, along with Scully, Barry Molloy (hamstring), Josh Mailey (groin), Keith Cowan (groin), Kevin McHugh (groin), Richard Brush (groin), Raymond Foy (hamstring) and Michael Rafter (ankle) are all definite absentees while doubts hang over Damien McNulty and Matthew Crossan who are both carrying knocks.
Derry City are flying high in the Premier Division – tonight they welcome Sligo Rovers to the Brandywell.
The Candystrips are the only side in the Premier Division to have won all their home matches to date, with five victories from five.
Gareth McGlynn and Harry Monaghan remained sidelined for Kenny Shiels’ side but Dean Jarvis and Aaron Barry could feature following injury lay offs.
Elsewhere tonight, Bohs meet the leaders Dundalk, Galway host Longford , Shamrock Rovers are at home to Bray and third placed Cork City take on St Pats at Turners Cross
