With the second series of games now underway in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, Dundalk and Cork City have increased their advantage at the top of the table with wins over the north west sides on Friday night passed.
Defending champions Dundalk have a four point lead over Cork who have a further six point cushion to Derry City and Shamrock Rovers.
Cork scored late on to beat Derry 2-1 while Dundalk inflicted a 7-0 beating on Harps.
