The Donegal Sports Partnership is hosting this year’s Building Positive Clubs conference on May 28.
The Building Positive Clubs charter was first launched by Donegal Sports Partnership in May 2012 to encourage the promotion of positive mental wellbeing through sport.
It was the first of its kind in Ireland and was set up to recognises the effort – as opposed to the win-at-all-costs approach – in a bid tackle attitudes that the Partnership claims can be detrimental to youth sport.

The event on May 28 hopes to hear from guests such as Oisin McConville (Armagh GAA), Peter Mitchell (Knights Wheelchair Basketball & formerly Leeds FC), Alan O’Mara (Cavan GAA & Real Talks), and Trevor Scanlon (Finn Harps Academy).
