Omagh native jailed in London for failing to tell authorities of husband’s ISIS plans

 
A 34 year old mother of three from Omagh and now based in Walsall has been jailed for two and a half years in the UK for failing to tell the authorities that her husband was about to join ISIS.
Trainee maths teacher Lorna Moore, who converted to Islam, is one of a group of friends who planned to bring up their children under so-called Islamic State in Syria.
She was sentenced in the Old Bailey in London yesterday.
West Midlands Police say 12 people from Walsall either went to Syria, or tried to do, so in 2012.
