Ballybofey to Donegal town journey times set to shorten this weekend

Motorists traveling the Ballybofey to Donegal Town road should see shorter journeys over the weekend.
Traffic lights will not be in operation over the weekend but the 30 kmph speed limit remains in place and will be enforced by gardai.
It is hoped that if the speed restriction is adhered to, that traffic lights will not have to be used contimuesly from Monday onwards.
The contractor has again asked motorists to observe the reduced speed in the interest of the safety of workers. Work on the road improvemnts is said to be ahead of schedule.
