There was not much goalmouth action in the first half, with few clear-cut chances for either side before half-time, although Dublin Metropolitan League (DML) looked dangerous from set-pieces.
The score was 0-0 at half-time after 40 minutes of play.
The second period exploded into life as Inishowen were denied a penalty shout when Sarah Jane McDonald was brought down in the box, but the ref waved away all appeals.
Inishowen’s Shania McGonagle then hit the crossbar.
Sarah Jane then put her team 1-0 up on the 65^th minute, but DML equalised 15 minutes later to send the match into 20 minutes of extra time before penalties decided it.
