Tyrone’s Ronan O’Neill has been named among the nominees for the May GAA/GPA Player of the Month award.
The Tyrone sharp shooter scored two first half goals as Tyrone disposed of Derry 3-12 to 0-14 in the Ulster Championship quarter final on Sunday 20th May at Celtic Park.
Martin Reilly of Cavan and Offaly’s Niall McNamee have also been nominated.
The winner will be announced at a presentation at Croke Park on Wednesday the 8th June.
Niall McMorrow (Dublin), Derek McNicholas (Westmeath) and John O’Dwyer (Tipperary) are the three nominations for the hurling award.
