Donegal player Frank McGlynn was clear that the players’ victory today was set up thanks to their great start to this Ulster Championship quarter-final against Fermanagh with two points and a goal.
Frank said that Fermanagh pinned Donegal back towards the end of the first half and that Neil McGee’s red card was a blow in that period.
He said that Donegal expected more pressure from Fermanagh in the second half because they had a man extra after Neil McGee was sent off.
