Following yesterdays news that Britain will leave the EU, over 1.3 million people in the UK have signed an online petition calling for a second EU referendum, meaning it could be debated in Parliament.
In the Foyle area 1,657 people have signed the petition along with 952 people in East Derry and 836 in West Tyrone.
Despite the UK’s decision to leave the union, a poll shows most young people opted to remain.
