The HSE has confirmed that there will be no future funding for three Donegal hospitals until the new hospital is built in Letterkenny by 2021.
Save Our Services Executive of Lifford, Ramelton and Stranorlar Community Hospitals have met with and engaged with senior executives and CEO John Hayes from the Health Services Executive in their continued efforts to save the Hospitals from closure.
The group say there is a complete lack of consistency and clarity in the arguments and positions being put forward by the HSE regarding the hospitals.
