Man and three children rescued from the water after getting into difficulty near Gola Island

A man and three children were rescued from the water just off the Gaoth Dobhair coast, near Gola Island at the weekend.
The alarm was raised 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon when the individuals were out body boarding and got into difficulty.
The Bunbeg Coastguard along with the Arranmore and Swilly lifeboat and Sligo 118 helicopter assisted in the rescue and none needed medical assistance.
