Competing in her first ever Olympic Games, 39 year old Letterkenny rower Sinead Jennings will compete in an Olympic Final on Friday.
Along with Claire Lambe, the pair will take on the Women’s Lightweight Doubles Sculls medal event after qualifying from their semi final earlier today.
The Irish boat finished third in the second race to a seal a place in the final tomorrow.
