The organisers of next weekend’s Donegal marathon are hoping for their biggest ever turnout.
Race director Brendan McDaid and race ambassador Danny McDaid said today that there are representatives from several countries and are encouraging more local runners to take part.
Participants can register for the marathon, which is now in its third year, on the donegalmarathon.ie website.
There were 700 people last year and the organisers are hoping for an even bigger turnout in 2016.
