The North’s Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness will visit City of Derry Airport this morning to discuss the prospect of a substantial Stormont investment package for the airport and its environs.
The visit follows Ryanairs recent decision to pull its London and Faro flights from the airport, effective from early next year.
Mr McGuinness is expected to comment on the possibility of the Executive providing up to £7million in support to assist the development and growth of the airport.
