GAA Programme – 30/11/16

Tom Comack Ft
The GAA Programme, in association with Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure, is broadcast every Wednesday from 8.30pm – 9pm.
On this week’s programme Tom Comack is joined former Donegal GAA Chairman and Dungloe clubman, Naul McCole, who goes down memory lane on a long and distinguished GAA career as a player and administrator.
Naul was honoured by the Ulster Council last weekend when he was presented with the Ulster President’s Lifetime Achievement Award by Ulster President Michael Hasson, at the Ulster Council’s annual banquet, in the Slieve Russell Hotel, in Cavan.
The Burtonport man recalls a long and varied career from his playing days with Dungloe – that yielded a minor and two senior championship winners medals – his role of Donegal chairman to his years on the provincial council.
He also recalls the little told story of his role in the Peace Process in the lead up to the signing of the Good Friday agreement in 1998.
Naul is also being honoured by Donegal GAA, at their annual banquet in the Abbey Hotel, on this Saturday night..
