James McCarthy to have scan today

James Mc Carthy will undergo a scan today as Everton try to find out the extent of the damage to his hamstring.
The Ireland midfielder was withdrawn at half time during Monday’s defeat to Liverpool.
It seems unlikely that Mc Carthy will be available for the Toffees Saint Stephens day clash with Leicester.
