Ross promises to consider Letterkenny Relief Road but makes no firm commitments

The Transport Minister has been urged to include the Letterkenny Relief Road in his review of the Governments Capital Plan.
In the Seanad last evening, Senator Padraig Mac Lochlainn highlighted what he termed the very real need for the project to get underway in terms of Letterkennys potential as a future city and the general accessibility to the wider North West.
Senator Mac Lochlainn says funding for the project is the final piece of the puzzle and overall it wouldn’t cost the Government much to provide it…………

Minister Ross acknowledged the difficulties facing Donegal and said further talks are planned for next week on the subject.
However he gave no commitment to include the project in the review………………
