John Kelly to throw in Poland this morning

The European U23 Athletic Championships starts this morning in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Finn Valley’s John Kelly throws in the qualifiers of the Shot Putt at 9am.
The National U23 champion from St Johnstone hit the qualification mark for the second time last month, setting a new Donegal record of 17.41m in the process.
Donegal Town’s Karl Griffen is also in Poland as part of the 4x400m team which run on Sunday.
Letterkenny’s Teresa McDaid is a member of the Irish coaching staff.
