45th anniversary of the Claudy bombing being marked this evening

Today marks the 45th anniversary of the Claudy bomb attacks in Derry.
9 civilians were killed in 3 car bomb explosions in what became known as Bloody Monday.
All of the main churches in the area will be taking part in an open air service this evening to remember the victims.
Kenny Donaldson is Director of Services at the South East Fermanagh Foundation which has supported a number of the Claudy families.
He says Claudy is one of those horrific atrocities of ‘The Troubles’ which has gone unresolved, and it’s right that all churches are involved in tonight’s commemoration……….
