Cllr. John Seamus O’Fearraigh has been nominated as a member of the board of Udaras na Gaeltachta after much drama within the Council chamber.
Cllr. O’Fearraigh won the Council vote by just one – 12 votes to 11 with Cllr Seamus O’Domhnaill losing out.
The nomination has led to Fianna Fail Councillors calling for a recorded vote to take place and are currently seeking legal action.
